Appointments & visits

Booking, timing and what happens on the day.

What are your opening hours?
Monday to Thursday 7:30–18:00, Friday 7:30–15:00 and Saturday 9:00–13:00, with same-day emergency appointments.
How early should I arrive?
Ten minutes early for your first visit, or right on time if you have completed your online forms.
How often should I have a check-up?
Most people every six months. If you are prone to gum disease or decay, we may suggest every three or four months.
Can someone come with me?
Yes. Partners, parents and support people are welcome in the treatment room.

Costs, insurance & payment

Estimates, billing and ways to spread the cost.

Will I know the cost before treatment?
Always. You receive a written, itemised estimate before any treatment, and we send it to your insurer for pre-approval if needed.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Interest-free plans over 6 or 12 months and low-interest plans up to 24 months for larger treatment.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Debit, credit cards, tap, e-transfer and clinic gift cards.
Do you accept government dental programs?
Yes, including the national dental care plan and children’s dental programs.

Treatments & comfort

How treatments feel, how long they last and recovery.

Will treatment hurt?
We use numbing gel before every injection and check you are completely numb before we start. Most patients feel pressure, not pain, and you can always ask us to pause.
How long do whitening results last?
Usually one to three years, depending on coffee, tea and red wine. A few nights of top-up gel every few months keeps your shade.
Are implants safe?
Implants are one of the most researched treatments in dentistry, with success rates above 95%. We plan every implant on a 3D scan for accuracy.
How long does aligner treatment take?
Most cases take 6 to 18 months. Your consultation includes a simulation that shows the expected timeline.
Do you offer sedation?
Yes. Laughing gas and oral sedation are available for anxious patients and longer treatments, planned with you in advance.

Children & families

First visits, teething and keeping little smiles healthy.

When should my child first see a dentist?
By their first birthday or when their first tooth appears. Early visits are short, fun and mostly about getting comfortable.
Can I stay with my child?
Yes. Parents are welcome in the room for every visit, and little ones can sit on your lap for their first check-up.
What are sealants?
A thin, protective coating painted onto the grooves of back teeth to prevent cavities. Quick, painless and no needles.
When should my child have an orthodontic check?
Around age seven. Dr. Rahimi checks how the jaw and adult teeth are developing, and most children need nothing more than monitoring.
